‘Blood Swept Lands and Seas of Read’ realizzata da Tom Piper e  Paul Cummins, è una tra le più grandi installazioni paesaggistiche del 2014. Uno spettacolare tappeto rosso di 886 246 papaveri in ceramica ha invaso la Tower Hill londinese per celebrare i caduti della Prima Guerra Mondiale.

One of the biggest flower landscape installation has made in London by the artists TomPiper and Paul Cummins.  “Blood Swept Lands and Seas of Red” composed of 888,246 ceramic flowers throughout the grounds as a tribute to the soldiers who fell during World War I.
Eeach of the ceramic flowers represents one British or Colonial fatality during the war.
