ZACK SECKLER – ICELAND FROM ABOVE

Zack Seckler è un fotografo americano che scatta bellissime istantanee dall’alto, volando sopra i paesaggi più belli del mondo. Questa è parte di una serie di scatti fatti sopra l’Islanda, in particolare presso quegli spazi di isola accessibili solo via aerea, le punte di terra e ghiaccio più isolate, che quì ci appaiono come pinne e code di immaginarie creature marine. Ghiaccio, mare, onde, ombre e piccoli grandi abitanti di quelle coste, fanno in modo che le immagini ci appaiano come in sogno. La profondità e gli spazi si confondono dando origine a bellissimi scenari astratti.

Zack Seckler is an American photographer who takes beautiful snapshots from above, flying over the most beautiful landscapes in the world. This is part of a series of photos taken over Iceland, in particular in those areas of the island accessible only by air, those ground drills and more isolated ice, which here appear as fins and tails of imaginary sea creatures. Ice, sea, waves, shadows, large and small inhabitants of these coasts, they all make sure that the images appears like a dream. Depth and spaces are mixed giving rise to beautiful abstract scenarios.
