Durante il festival di Cannes Christian Dior ha presentato la sua nuova collezione tra le stanze del surreale Bubble Palace, creando una perfetta sinergia.

Attualmente residenza dello stilista Pierre Cardin, è stata disegnata negli anni Ottanta dall’architetto ungherese  Antti Lovag (1920-2014).

Nota per essere stata la location di molti eventi, set fotografici ha un grande impatto visivo e le sue linee sinuose lasciano che si perda traccia dei confini. Uno spazio dove espresione artistica, flessibilità e armonia delle forme lasciano libero spazio all’immaginazione.

Antti Lovag definisce la linea un’aggressione alla natura ed ecco che prende vita il Palace of Bubbles:

Si sviluppa in 1200 mq di living, un anfiteatro con 500 posti, una lounge con vista panoramica e 10 suites decorate da artisti contemporanei come Patrice Breteau, Jerome Tisserand Daniel You, François Chauvin ecc

Per un totale di 28 stanze sferiche, disegnate come se fossero bolle di sapone. Gli arredi interni sono realizzati in polyester, schiumati e plastica il tutto rigorosamente  bombato. Le luce naturale decora gli spazi creando ombre sensuali e inastettate.

Il tutto circondato da 8500 mq di giardini e piscine.

 

During the Cannes Film Festival Christian Dior presented his new collection through the rooms of surreal Bubble Palace, creating a perfect synergy. Currently the residence of designer Pierre Cardin, was designed in the eighties by Hungarian architect Antti Lovag (1920-2014).

This space is known for being the location of many events, photo shoots has a great visual impact and its rounded lines let you lose track of the borders.

A space where artistic expression lines, flexibility and harmony of shapes allow the  imagination freedom.

Antti Lovag defines the line assault on nature and here comes to life the Palace of Bubbles: It is spread in 1200 square meters of living, an amphitheater with 500 seats, a lounge with panoramic views and 10 suites decorated by contemporary artists such as Patrice Breteau, Daniel Jerome Tisserand You, François Chauvin etc.

28  spherical rooms, in total, drawn by the architect like soap bubbles.

The interior furnishings are made of polyester, foam and plastic all definitely rounded.

The natural light decorates spaces creating shadows sensual and unusual.

All it’s surrounded by 8500 square meters of gardens and swimming pools.
